My friend Lucy and I are going out to a New Year’s party later. So Mommy is giving us a bubble bath to be ready, sparkly and smelling lovely! We are going to dress up too! I think Lucy will wear a long dress and I will wear a bow tie. Should be good fun.
I really look forward to continuing my dog blog in the New Year! Mommy and I have lots of new adventures planned and we hope you will follow us! Love & paw hugs to all of my readers xxx Chilli
Today I’m helping out by being Mommy’s model! She loves to draw me and does loads of sketches! She has even turned me into a little cartoon character, I’m sure she won’t mind if I post a picture soon. Anyway, as it is raining right now we are all cozy indoors. Hope you have a lovely day dear friends. Paw hugs xxx
My lovely teacher invited Mommy and me to join her at a group HTM class, also known as doggie dancing! I was very excited and a bit nervous. The last time I have attended a group learning activity was as a little puppy. But my teacher said it would be fine and that I will learn a whole new set of things. We drove outside of London into the beautiful Surry countryside. We arrived in time to help set up: carpet rolled out, check, music playing, check.
To warm up Mommy and I did a little heel work training. The teacher then asked us to start a little sequence moving to the music. We started with Mommy walking backwards and me following her and doing some twists on command. Then we added Mommy being stationary and me jumping over her extended right leg and then the left. The teacher finally asked us to put it all together! It was quite a challenge for me to stay focussed! I really wanted to run off and play with the other dogs…which eventually I did! Oops! I need to improve my focus on Mommy and the work we do. But for now it is all a big game still for me! I had a lot of fun!
Meet my new friend Coco! She is quite the business woman. Together with her Mommy Jan and sister Millie they run an amazing doggie day care business. It’s a new venture run by a very experienced Jan-she has cared for children, dogs and built her own business before.
Jan enthusiastically explained to Mommy that their day care is exclusively for us little dogs! Jan is very keen on the doggies to have a “home away from home” experience filled with love, comfort and of course safety. She believes us little dogs need a family and warm environment to feel comfortable and happy in. And if you wish your beloved pooch can also stay for holidays.
Her home, where us doggies will be staying, is a welcoming and cozy environment with a lovely patio which is currently being transformed into a fun dog garden! I can’t wait to see it! Jan and Millie also take their dog guests out on long walks to neighbouring Holland Park and Kensington Gardens.
I have to say that as a nervous, slightly hesitant dog I felt at home immediately! I loved seeing Coco again and playing with all three of them. We had such a good time.
