A Bit of a Tight Squeeze

July 30, 2015
Chilli Chihuahua at the vet

I had to go to the vet today. I get very scared! I know that Mommy would like to use the scale too but it’s not for humans even though I know it looks quite big! The vet had to squeeze my bottom…it’s a gland problem a lot of us little doggies have. I wonder why? Anyway Mommy said I was brave as usual! Paw power! Chilli Chihuahua-dog with a blog xxx

Dog agility training: My First Session!

Dog agility training for a little Chihuahua

Dear fans I’m so excited for you to watch my very first dog agility training session! Look at me jump! My lovely teacher built this little track especially for me. We started with only two jumps and worked up to four with a crossover. This way she trains Mommy too for her agility to be perfected. My teacher says jumping is self rewarding but as she is so nice she gives me yummy treats too. She says my high energy will be put to great use now. I’m really excited about learning to run, loop, jump and more! Pawtastic xxx Chilli Chihuahua-dog with a blog

Hello Little Girl

July 21, 2015

Today in the park a little girl was very keen on meeting me. Her family did not speak much English but Mommy could see she wanted to meet me. Mommy gave me some treats and got me to jump on the bench next to the girl where she reassured me it’s ok to be gently stroked by the girl. Mommy showed her how and she was so lovely! Her brothers and their friends wanted to touch me too so they all came and sat around me while offering me a treaty. It was really nice to make them happy and I was quite chilled! xxx Chilli Chihuahua-dog with a blog

Dog obedience training in action!

Today we passed a trendy venue in West London and Mommy thought it would be fun to take a picture of me with the big green cow! She wasn’t sure if I’d be nervous having to pose while traffic and people were passing by. But I was a really good boy and sat still for her to take a pic! Ok I won’t go into detail of Mommy and Auntie Sara catching my attention with treats and squeals! xxx Chilli Chihuahua-dog with a blog

Chiwawa Barky Barky

July 16, 2015
Chiwawa being naughty

Chiwawa who couldn’t help himself…

Today I really couldn’t help myself! I must admit sometimes I am a stereotypical chiwawa! I’m not proud of it as us little guys are very loving and happy dogs. I had to do my little barky barky attack on a few dogs I met. To my defence they were on the lead (so was I) and that makes me nervous and stressed. They might have sniffed my bum a little too long too! Mommy and I will work on this and keep you updated. Woof! xxx Chilli Chihuahua-dog with a blog

Toy Dogs Yoga Boy

Us little Toy Dogs love to be on the mat!

Mommy loves practising yoga. I like to join her on the mat. There are quite a few toy dogs who practise yoga. She says I already know some moves! But unfortunately every time I do this famous thing “downward facing dog” she doesn’t have the camera or I move too fast! So now she waits for me every morning eager to capture me in a great pic to share with you! Mommy will post it for me once it’s just right! Paw waves xxx Chilli Chihuahua-dog with a blog

Dog Tricks: Paw Power!

July 14, 2015
dog tricks chiwawa

Dog tricks are so much fun!

My teacher started my training by teaching me fun little dog tricks. At the moment I’m learning how to put my little paw on an object of Mommy’s choice. This sounds easy maybe but to me it’s not. You see I have very sensitive paws and I’m a bit insecure about touching things. That makes these kind of dog tricks harder for me to do. But I’m trying to learn! Soon I will be able to do it on command and no treat! Woof! Paw power! xxx Chilli Chihuahua

My perfect Sunday roast

July 12, 2015

Look I’m in a taxi! We’re going for a pub lunch with friends. In England they have this wonderful invention called a “Sunday Roast”. It is a big big plate of yummy meat and lots of sides too. I think the pub is called the Whippet Inn-it is indeed very dog friendly! I wonder what dish I will be having? Maybe I’m lucky and some tasty lamb will find its way to me! Yummy! Chilliwawa Stylish Dog at Dior

Today Mommy and I got all dressed up to go to this lovely place called Dior. She had to get something repaired and the lovely ladies there gave me lots and lots of attention! I was so good I didn’t even bark at the men there. I relaxed on the lovely carpet instead. Too bad we were not allowed to take photos inside. Paw hugs xxx

My Very First Dog Blog Post!

July 11, 2015
dog blog Chilliwawa

Hello, I’m Chilli the urban pooch! I live in Notting Hill with my fashionable Mummy and friends. Mummy takes me everywhere, so I have a lot to write about in my dog blog. You see, I experience the world from a different angle, so sometimes I get a bit anxious or overwhelmed. Don’t forget I’m a very small dog!

How To Create A Dog Blog Chilli-Style!

I’ve been sharing my adventures with my fans on social media for quite some time now, and I love to receive your comments and likes. But there I can’t really tell a story as it’s more about pictures and little comments Mummy says. So I asked her if she could help me set up my very own dog blog. I could make it look really nice with a cute little logo and write about my doggie days as an urban pooch. Mummy of course said yes, and she helped me create this. We researched many blogging platforms (not quite sure how this is related to the shoes) and Mummy explained to me all of the differences and the pros and cons. In the end we decided to go for WordPress as it did sound very cool! It has things called plugins that allow you to make your blog even more exciting. But enough of the technical stuff, I’m not sure how much of it I understand. I just know that this is going to be great!

I love going out during the day. I must say the big green park is my favourite. I get to meet lots of doggies there and we get to sniff and run and play. Occasionally I find a furry friend who wants to chase me. But I also like going shopping with Mummy. She often asks me for my opinion – she says it’s very important. So when I come home after an eventful day I get to blog about it here. I can tell you all about what happened in the park or cafe or bumping into my friends on the street.

Dog Blog: What’s It All About?

Well, a lot of it is about me, but of course it’s all about my adventures. I am Mummy’s little companion and she takes me really everywhere (well, except for the supermarket where they’ve told us we can’t shop together). And I have some really cool friends. Some are Chihuahuas like me but I have friends of all breeds and sizes. I have human friends too. And some kids. In my dog blog there will be lots of stories about the park, Notting Hill, my training and of course my doggie couture! I love Mummy’s creations and we have so much fun taking pictures together.

The Life Of A Dog Blogger

I’m the type of dog that like to work. It’s boring for me to do nothing. So becoming a blogger is very exciting for me! I get to type with my little paws and try to spell things correctly. Thank goodness for auto correct. And I ask Mummy to help me upload my dog blog posts online and add a cute picture. I would love to be a famous blogger who gets invited to fashion shows, doggie events and much more. Us little dogs can do a lot: we have loads of energy and drive, so we enjoy variation. Blogging about that is interesting and lots of fun. So, in summary, get ready for a pawtastic pawsome dog blogging experience!
